The Name:

nirmik is a word coined by the great Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. It literally means 'the power to create a new world' but we have changed it to ‘the power to change the world’ to specify the meaning more in terms to what we can do. This is a seen quality in the youth, they continuously strive to create a better place to live in. This name stood out of a list due to its simplicity and great emphasis of its meaning to the youth of today who seriously want to bring about a change in the world today. The youth do have the potential to cause a revolution but lack of leadership, vision, commitment, confidence and responsibility hampers their over all growth. nirmik takes the initiative to lead for such a cause in building these vital qualities in the youth of today.

The Logo:

The logo shows a youth breaking the shackles of bondage and spreading his arms in freedom. The other angle shows unity between youths with four youths coming together. The dove signifies freedom and peace. The words on the edges signify the qualities of the youth: excellence, commitment, unity and determination. 

Objective:

The main objective of nirmik is to create better future for the youths of today by giving them the opportunities to explore the world with a different view and help them make the best use of the opportunities provided. nirmik stands on the objective of empowering today’s youth to handle issues related to decision-making, employment & personality development.
