Here are some of the things acomplished by nirmik.
MAI Show on occasion of Easter in 2005
This was the first event nirmik group ideated, managed and executed. This was the time nirmik was in a very nascet stage, but still the event was a great success. The event was the 1st live show of Mai, an East Indian music troupe. It saw an audience from different parts of Vasai attending the event. The event budget was bill at Rs. 30,000 out of which the profits were Rs. 5,000/- which nirmik donated for St. Xavier’s high school needy children.
Mr. & Mrs. Manickpur show in the year 2006
Likewise the first show, nirmik ideated this event for the first time in Vasai. The concept was innovative and so were the risks involved with getting participants. The show was specifically targeted for married couples. The rounds were also interesting and audience loved the show. This show was organised during the Christmas week for entertainment and it was cheered by the crowd consisting of age group from 10 year olds to 60 year old.
Health Checkup Camp in association with Dial 1298 for Ambulance
Moving towards social service nirmik conducted free health check-up camp for the people in premises of St. Xavier’s High School, Manickpur. The free check-up camp was organised in association with Dial 1298 for Ambulance on Sunday morning on the 1st of June 2008. The check-up camp was attended by more than 45 people benefiting within a time span of four hours.

Again this year nirmik organised this much waited event during Christmas week. This year the show was a great hit amongst the participants as well as the audiences. nirmik Foundation was able to generate funds for their future events, through this event. The event established nirmik Foundation as a group which is into innovations for society.
Launch of a Social Networking platform for Catholics - http://catholicyouthbridge.ning.com/
This was the time August 08 when nirmik felt the need to get all the Catholic Youths on a common platform to discuss about the issues in the community. It was also felt that catholic youths need to come together and share their resources. The networking platform now has more than 300 Catholics from all parts of India and International as well.

Again this year nirmik organised this much waited event during Christmas week. This year the show was a great hit amongst the participants as well as the audiences. This time however, the Baby Show that accompanied the main show was a greater hit.
Aptitude Tests
nirmik realized the need to conduct professional aptitude tests for the students. The major problem face was that their was hardly any awareness on aptitude tests, incase anybody interested to get his son/daughter to undergo these tests, then traveling to city was putting the parents off. nirmik who’s main work lied on the motto of informing students and empowering them to decide to tie-up with Prafulta Counseling Centre a Don Bosco centre in Feburary 09. The rate per student was negotiated to Rs. 300 from the actual rate of Rs. 600. The tests were attended by 86 students from 9 grade to 12 grade. Through this initiative nirmik Foundation got recognition in Vasai to Virar zone. This popularity helped to communicate nirmik Foundation's vision. Seeing the successful implementation at Manickpur & Vasai stn area, YLC from Agashi decided to conduct this project in their area in May 09. nirmik Foundation’s aim is to conduct Aptitude tests with 2000 students, helping them to decide the best career suited for them.
Project Donate Notebook for under-privileged children
nirmik Foundation realized the need to provide education related collaterals like notebooks, pens, pencils, etc to spread education. Keeping this as goal nirmik Foundation launched a pilot project on donate used notebooks for needy. The project in its pilot phase targeted to donate 5000 notebooks to under-privileged students of St. Xavier's High School, Vasai. The project was announced and marketed in Manickpur area, also proposals were sent out to businessmen to contribute towards this initiative. The end of the project is 31st May 09. Post that the unused pages will be bind into 200pgs notebooks and distributed amongst students
